BOOK REVIEW: God Gave Us Two

I recently had the opportunity to review another one of Lisa Tawn Bergren’s books for children. It’s called, “God Gave Us Two.” I love these books, with their sweet, colorful illustrations of a polar bear family. This particular one isn’t my most favorite, but it definitely has a special purpose. It is about Mama polar bear being “with child,” and addresses the questions that Little cub comes up with:

~Why do you need a new baby?

~If we don’t like the baby, can we send it back?

~Will she go iceberg hoppin’ and puffin pouncin’ with me?

~Will the new baby look like me?

~Will you forget about me?

All of these are questions that a young child might ask when mommy is expecting number 2. It is a good book to share with little ones to help them accept, love and appreciate their new siblings.

You can find a hardcover edition of this book on Amazon.com for $9.99.
