Two Years Cancer Free

This is a short post, but I just wanted to share about yesterday's checkup with my Oncologist. It was two years ago on June 19th that I finished my treatments. So, this was a 2-year post chemo checkup. My doctor had three words to say about this visit.

"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU GRADUATED!"

As he gave me a "high five" he explained that I no longer need to return to see him every 3 months. Instead, I will now be returning every 6 months. So, only twice per year now. That is SUCH. GREAT. NEWS.
